mathspeedway_gameplayHere at We Come to Learn, we are happy to announce that our newest game for the iPad, Math Speedway, is now available in the iTunes App Store. Math Speedway is based on a classroom game designed to help learners build fluency with addition and subtraction.

In each round of Math Speedway, players find (swipe over) six equations hidden inside a 6x6 number grid. All of the number sentences are in read-write positions, that is they run either horizontally (left-to-right) or vertically (top-down), and they do sometimes overlap.

Player options can be set to match a child's skill level, allowing a variety of learners to get just the right level of practice. Options include setting the difficulty of the equations (sums/minuends to 9, 12, or 20), setting the time limit for each round (5 minutes, 2 minutes, 1 minute, or 30 seconds), and deciding whether or not to allow hints or display the timer during game play.

And because the game is programmed to generate the math equations randomly, each round of the game will be different from the last.

Check out Math Speedway today in the iTunes store. We think you'll like what you learn!
